I have been teaching science at British secondary schools for nearly fourteen years, in Exeter, Twickenham, Cornwall, and most recently as Head of Science at a comprehensive school in Oxford.
Before that, I worked as a chef in three restaurants in Bristol, and as a support worker at a residential care home for adults with learning disabilites.
Before that, I completed a degree in Biology at Bristol University, while enjoying myself rather too much.
Just before that, I took my backpack around the world and came back with panama hat, a mexican hammock, and some typical backpacker uniform from Guatemala and Thailand.
And before that I grew up and went to school in Hammersmith, West London.
But that was then; this is now.
